CCI-CS constructed a new 29,000 SF single-story concrete masonry Ballistic Research Facility which included >15,000 SF of inside ranges. The facility was constructed for FBI’s Ballistic Research Facility group. The main part of the building includes multiple work areas for repairing and cleaning weapons, multiple storage rooms, men’s and women’s bathrooms, a reloading room, a library/presentation room, a metal/wood shop, an office, a break room, and utility rooms (communications, fire/water, electrical, mechanical). The facility includes a range control room and two parallel indoor shooting ranges (50-meter and 120-meter). In addition to the interior ranges, there is an overhead door at the end of the 120-meter range that can open to expose a 1,500-meter range with outside targets.
