This design-build project incorporated energy conservation measures in three buildings totaling 282,500 SF located at NAS Meridian. In Building 1, CCI replaced the existing chilled water system; replaced one of the main water-cooled screw chillers, and upgraded the lighting with LED fixtures. In Building 2, CCI modified the electrical system to support the new HVAC equipment and lighting. In Building 150, CCI replaced a 200 nominal ton chiller in Building 150. All three buildings remained operational during construction, and a high level of coordination with the FAA was required to minimize disruptions to flight operations.
